Choose the right PDF workflow
Start with the change you need to make. For a job application, merge a cover letter and CV in the required order. To send only part of a long report, split out the relevant page range. To fix sideways pages or remove blank pages, use Rotate or Organize. These tasks keep the document in PDF format.
Text-based PDF or scanned image?
Try selecting a sentence in your PDF reader. If it can be copied as text, the extraction tools may be suitable. If the page is only a photograph, PDF to Word, Excel or Markdown cannot recognise the words in it. This hosted version has no OCR service. Scan to PDF captures page images; choose Original Color when colour matters.
What conversion changes
PDF to Word extracts text into a basic editable document. PDF to PowerPoint puts a page image on each slide; it does not recreate editable text boxes. Word and Excel exports use a basic text or table layout. For an exact copy of a complex Office document, use the original editor to export a PDF. Read each tool guide before choosing a format.
Check the download before sending it
Keep your original. Open the downloaded file and check page count, order, small text, amounts and the final page. A successful download confirms that a file was created, not that every feature of the source was preserved. Cropping, drawing over text and adding a signature do not securely remove information or provide certificate-based signing.
There are 23 available tools in this version. Password protection and removal, secure redaction, OCR, AI summary, translation, comparison, PDF/A and PowerPoint-to-PDF conversion are unavailable. Contact support with a small non-sensitive example if an available tool produces an incorrect result.
