3. Submitting Bug Reports

We strive for 100% reliability across all supported operating systems and browsers. If a tool fails to execute or an unexpected error occurs, reporting the issue helps our engineering team fix it promptly.

Helpful Information to Include in Bug Reports:

  1. Tool Name: (e.g., "Merge PDF", "Word to PDF", "Sign PDF")
  2. Device & OS: (e.g., Windows 11, macOS Sequoia, iPhone iOS 18, Ubuntu 24.04)
  3. Browser & Version: (e.g., Google Chrome 128, Safari 18, Firefox 130)
  4. File Details: Approximate file size, page count, and whether the file was password-protected. (Please DO NOT attach sensitive personal data).
  5. Observed Behavior: What happened vs. what you expected to happen.

4. Feature Requests & Feedback

OneToolPDF is built to serve real human needs. Many of our current capabilities—such as Markdown conversion, PDF/A archiving, and visual page reordering—were inspired directly by user suggestions.

If you have an idea for a new conversion utility, UI refinement, or export feature, send us an email with the subject [Feature Request]. We review every suggestion during platform development sprints.

5. Privacy & Data Inquiries

We respect your data rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other applicable global regulations.

If you have questions regarding data handling, cookies, analytics, or wish to exercise privacy rights, please contact us with the subject line [Privacy Inquiry].

7. Quick Troubleshooting Tips (Before Emailing)

Many common browser issues can be solved immediately without waiting for a support reply:

Clear Browser Cache

If an update was recently deployed, a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5 or Cmd+Shift+R) ensures you have the latest tool scripts.

Verify Password Protection

If merging or converting fails, check if the file is password-protected. Password-protected files should be opened and exported with their authorized password before uploading.

Check Available Memory

Very large PDFs (500+ pages) require browser RAM. Closing unnecessary tabs can free memory for client-side processing.

Disable Aggressive Extensions

Some script-blocking extensions can prevent WebAssembly workers from initializing. Try running the tool in an incognito window.
