3. Eligibility and User Responsibilities

To access and use OneToolPDF, you must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age required in your country of residence to enter into a binding agreement). If you access this website on behalf of a company, educational institution, or other entity, you represent and warrant that you possess full authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

As a user of our service, you are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring you possess reliable hardware, internet connectivity, and a modern web browser capable of running web standards.
  • Maintaining independent backup copies of all original documents and files before processing them on our website.
  • Reviewing all processed, converted, or exported output files before deploying or publishing them in legal, academic, commercial, or critical contexts.
4

4. Lawful and Acceptable Use

You agree to use OneToolPDF only for lawful purposes and in strict accordance with these Terms and all applicable municipal, national, and international laws.

You may not use the service to process, upload, generate, or distribute any content that:

  • Violates copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • Contains illegal, sexually explicit, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or threatening material.
  • Facilitates identity theft, academic dishonesty, forgery, fraud, or intentional misrepresentation.
  • Contains classified government records, confidential medical records without consent, or restricted military materials.
5

5. Uploaded Documents and User Content

You retain complete responsibility for all files, data, text, images, annotations, and forms ("User Content") that you stage, upload, process, or download using OneToolPDF.

You represent and warrant that you own or have obtained all requisite licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to upload and process each document. OneToolPDF exercises no editorial control, prior review, or human curation over user-processed files and accepts no liability for any consequences arising from documents processed through the website.

6

6. Ownership of User Files and Outputs

You Retain 100% Full Ownership

OneToolPDF does not claim any ownership, copyright, title, or intellectual property rights over the files you upload or the output documents generated by our tools.

You retain complete, unencumbered ownership of your original materials and all resulting processed files. We do not sell, license, publish, monetize, or transfer your documents to third parties.

7

7. File Processing and Temporary Data Handling

Our technical processing model is designed to maximize privacy and minimize data exposure:

In-Browser Client Execution

Standard manipulation tools (Merge, Split, Compress, Rotate, Watermark, Organize, Sign, etc.) execute locally in your web browser via client-side libraries. Files remain on your machine and are not uploaded to our servers.

Transient Cloud API Execution

AI-powered utilities (AI Assistant, AI Translation, OCR) transmit user-selected text or page images via encrypted HTTPS to cloud AI endpoints (Google Gemini) ephemerally in volatile memory solely to compute and return the output.

No Long-Term Storage: OneToolPDF does not operate a persistent user document database. Files in browser memory clear when the tab closes, and server API buffers discard immediately upon response. For detailed information, see our Privacy Policy.

8

8. Intellectual Property Rights

Except for User Content, all content and materials available on OneToolPDF—including but not limited to the website design, brand name, trademarks, logos, visual layouts, icons, graphics, text, compilation, and software source code—are the exclusive intellectual property of OneToolPDF and are protected under international copyright, trademark, and unfair competition laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the website for its intended document processing purposes. You may not copy, reverse engineer, decompile, mirror, republish, or create derivative works from the OneToolPDF platform without our prior written authorization.

9

9. Prohibited Uses

When using OneToolPDF, you explicitly agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Deploying automated scripts, bots, spiders, or scrapers to extract data or make bulk automated calls that strain hosting resources.
  • Attempting to circumvent, probe, test, disable, or tamper with website security controls, firewalls, or rate-limiting measures.
  • Uploading files containing malware, spyware, ransomware, logic bombs, or corrupted data designed to harm web browsers or servers.
  • Impersonating another person, organization, or OneToolPDF representative.
  • Attempting to resell, white-label, re-bundle, or charge third parties for access to OneToolPDF tools without an explicit commercial license.
10

10. Third-Party Services and External Links

The website may integrate with or link to third-party services, including web hosting platforms (such as Hostinger), cloud application runtimes, AI service providers (Google Gemini API), analytics tools, and educational resources.

We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party services, websites, content, or practices. Your use of third-party features is governed by the respective terms of service and privacy policies of those third-party providers.

11

11. Advertising and Google AdSense

To maintain OneToolPDF as a free, accessible resource, our website displays or is architected to display online advertising from partners such as Google AdSense and qualified advertising networks.

By using OneToolPDF, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Advertisements may be presented on various tool pages, result screens, and page margins.
  • Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure, and optimize ad placements in compliance with user consent.
  • You may not use ad-clicking bots, coordinated click networks, or automated mechanisms to generate artificial or fraudulent advertising impressions or clicks.
12

12. Service Availability, Changes and Updates

We strive to keep OneToolPDF operating reliably at all times. However, we do not warrant that access to the website will be continuous, uninterrupted, timely, or completely error-free.

We reserve the right at our sole discretion, without liability or prior notice, to update, modify, enhance, restrict, or discontinue any feature, tool, page, or service component at any time for maintenance, security, technical enhancements, or legal compliance.

13

13. No Guarantee of Conversion Accuracy

Notice on Automated Conversions

Document conversion, OCR text extraction, file compression, and AI translation are algorithmic automated processes. Because PDFs can contain diverse fonts, non-standard character encodings, scanned raster images, multi-column tables, or complex vector graphics, OneToolPDF cannot and does not guarantee that converted or edited files will achieve 100% visual parity or typographical precision.

You are strongly advised to verify and proofread all output files before utilizing them in binding legal contracts, financial filings, academic submissions, or medical records.

14

16

  • Your access to, use of, or misuse of the OneToolPDF service.
  • Any User Content or documents you process through the website.
  • Your violation of these Terms or any applicable statutory regulation.
  • Your infringement of any copyright, trademark, trade secret, or privacy right of any third party.

17. Privacy and Cookies

Your privacy is paramount to us. Our data handling procedures, cookie practices, and privacy standards are detailed in our separate Privacy Policy.

By using OneToolPDF, you acknowledge and agree that your use of the website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

18

18. Suspension or Restriction of Access

We reserve the right, without prior notice, liability, or refund, to immediately suspend, block, rate-limit, or terminate access to OneToolPDF for any user, IP address, or network that violates these Terms, attempts unauthorized automated scraping, threatens system stability, or engages in unlawful activities.
